3DIIBlog - 3Ds Max Rigging

5:35 AM

This week, we learned how to make create a human in 3Ds Max, the principles are pretty similar to Maya, but different in many ways. Maya has more complicated steps, or maybe it's just me using 3Ds Max very often.

We are given a 70-page tutorial program to follow, the steps were pretty easy to understand compared to using Maya. I prefer using 3Ds max because it is easier to understand, but Maya has more detailed features to model my human.

This finished product is a human, I have added mesh smooth to make it more smooth. The below image is my work.

There are not much to update about, but I could tell modeling a human figure is faster than doing it in Maya. Usual tools were used like extrude, quick slice tool and also slice tool. With basic 3Ds Max knowledge, it is not difficult to model a human.

Sign in off for this week, and here's a 3D potato,
